Request for Proposals – Giese Park Pond Dredging Project
The City of Baxter is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for dredging and shoreline stabilization work at the Giese Park Pond. The project includes pumping down the pond, dredging to a depth of 10 to 12 feet, installing a 4-foot gabion stone band around the shoreline, placing dredged material in a City-designated area, and restoring disturbed areas.

Proposal Deadline: Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM
Submission: Proposals may be emailed in PDF format to cityclerk@baxter-iowa.com and lbattani@baxter-iowa.com.
All proposals received by the deadline will be reviewed, and a recommendation will be presented to the City Council on December 8, 2025.
