NOTICE OF SEALED BID LETTING ON THE SALE AND TRANSFER OF PUBLIC PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF BAXTER, IOWA, SAID REAL PROPERTY BEING LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS:
SOUTH 4 ACRES WEST ¼ SW SE
Better known as 407 S East Ave, Baxter, IA 50028 – Nursing Home Property
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the City Council of the City of Baxter, Iowa is accepting and receiving sealed bids for the above public property. Sealed Bids must be received at City Hall no later than 28th day of May 2024 at 6:00 p.m. A development agreement will be established by and between the bidder and the City of Baxter, Iowa. The agreement will require successful bidder to remove structure within 12 months of transfer of deed, and a guarantee a minimum accessed value of $300,000 within two years of the transfer deed.
The Sealed bids will be opened at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th day of May 2024 in the City Council Chambers, 203 S. Main Street, Baxter, Iowa 50028.
The City Council of the City of Baxter, Iowa will review bids on the 28th day of May 2024.
The City Council has the right to reject all bids.
